Organic Dry Adobo
Are you aware that majority of the Adobo seasonings on the market have several chemicals and preservatives added to the mix. For instance some have MSG (monosodium glutamate or Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein), yellow dyes and Tricalcium Phosphate( anticaking agent).
Why not make it yourself? It is easy and quick... Here is a Recipe for you:
6 Tbsp of grounded sea salt
(optional amount can lower for less sodium)
3 Tbsp organic onion powder
3 Tbsp of organic garlic powder
3 Tbsp organic ground black pepper
1 1/2 tsp organic ground oregano
Place all ingredients in a far with a tight fitting lid. Shake well and store for up to 2 months in a cool dry place. (Optional: you can add some organic Achiote (annatto) powder to add some color to your food or some dried organic cumin as well).
