As I was driving, my thoughts began to wonder on the idea of my Jr High crush leaving me. Not leaving our 14 year relationship, but physically leaving for a great career opportunity to provide and support his family. My heart always begins to palpitate with just a thought of his absence. Pyscho? No....Truly In Love? Yes.....My heart has become infused with his. Without a command, we move in the same motion.
My love for poetry was sparked by him in my teenage years. He was an inspiration for me....My Muse.... So, now to bring you current on the quote that was inspired by his absence.
“The tendency to forget the immense amount of love one has for the other half of their being becomes ignited when the grasp of their touch is absent.”--Dina Caballero
My passion for writing poetry about love has been reassembled in my brain and unraveled in my heart. My heart and brain must work together to create a work of art with words. Meanings that go beyond the physical aspects of life, become spiritual connections that are aided by God’s words. God’s love for us is the operation behind our oneness. He is the one that creates and displays love without blemish. He is the one that embosses it with His Holy Spirit.
My time will not be in vain.....My husbands time will not be in vain...Although, physically we are separated, spiritually we are the same being living in a carnal existence separately.
I pray this inspires any other writers to tap into their gift and use it... May this be encouraging for those who are married or separate. Love is a choice...So choose wisely
